What it is
At the research firm BBN, Feurzeig, Papert and Solomon created Logo, an educational programming language whose 'turtle graphics' let children learn computational concepts by moving a cursor intuitively.
What it led to
- Papert's constructionist pedagogy in computing education
- Later generations of educational and school-robotics languages
