⚠️ Disputed: the sources disagree.
What it is
Agote performed an indirect transfusion with blood preserved with sodium citrate, which prevents clotting, and spread the method. It made it possible to store blood and separate donor from recipient.
Hustin (Brussels, March 1914), Lewisohn (New York, 1915) and Weil worked in parallel; priority is shared.
