What was discovered
The Voyagers revealed active volcanoes on Io, Jupiter's rings, the fine structure of Saturn's rings, Titan's atmosphere, Miranda and the geysers of Triton. The moons turned out to be geologically alive worlds.
Voyager 1 crossed the heliopause in 2012 and Voyager 2 in 2018.
