What it is
Thick holograms with reference and object light arriving from opposite sides of the emulsion, which are viewed with ordinary white light by selective Bragg reflection. Denisyuk joined them to Lippmann's photography.
Denisyuk worked at the Vavilov Optical Institute in Leningrad and his work was recognised slowly in the West owing to Soviet isolation.
